President’s Welcome
Welcome to the website of the Catholic Primary Principals Association (CPPA) of Western Australia.
In 2026, we celebrate a significant milestone — 50 years of the CPPA. Throughout this year, you will see our special 50‑year anniversary logo, commemorating five decades of service, leadership, collegiality, and faith-filled commitment to Catholic education across Western Australia.
The CPPA is the professional association for senior leaders of Catholic schools with primary-aged students in Western Australia. Our purpose remains steadfast: to enhance the work of principals and school leaders through wellbeing support, leadership development, and strong advocacy for the profession.
Active participation continues to be a hallmark of our success. I encourage every member to prioritise opportunities for collaboration and collegiality. Whether at the local, regional, state executive, or national level, there are many avenues to both give and receive pastoral support, engage in professional development, participate in social events, and contribute through our CPPA pillars or executive team. As a CPPA member, you also play a role in the national education landscape through our affiliation with the Australian Catholic Primary Principals Association (ACPPA) and the Australian Primary Principals Association (APPA).
We recognise the unwavering dedication you bring to your school communities and the support you offer your colleagues. Your leadership helps create vibrant communities of faith and fosters the potential of all those you work with, ensuring a brighter future for the students entrusted to our care.
Please take some time to explore our website, connect with our valued corporate sponsors, and access the resources designed to support you in your school leadership. We welcome your feedback to help us continue evolving and enriching what we offer.
God Bless
Andrew Colley
2026 CPPA President
